Paralegal – Private Client £17000 Nottingham

Our client are a well established and very well respected law firm with multiple UK locations and a history spanning over 25 years. With over 125 fee earners and established interests in both Private Client, Commercial Law and now on line services, they are seeking to grow their head office operation in Nottingham.

This latest opportunity is for an enthusiastic individual looking for a career in law and who will join the team working from Nottingham as a Paralegal in the Private Client department. The role will include progressing fast track cases through our case management system and dealing with initial queries both by phone and in person from new clients. You will also handle the preliminary work on new cases, preparing them to hand over to the Solicitors and with involvement preparing, processing and completing relevant documentation.

This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to develop their skills and experience and grow in to the role. As well as taking instructions from and providing assistance to the Private Client fee earners, you will work closely with the Head of Department to take on and develop good quality work.

The role will include preparing documents and forms and meeting with new and existing clients. Client care is paramount along with good drafting skills and excellent file management and organisational skills. You will be naturally inquisitive with an understanding of legal principles and current legislation and previous legal experience within Private Client would be desirable.

Applicants with Paralegal experience or Law graduates seeking to start their career and looking at the Paralegal route will both be considered.
